American Cancer Society Relay for Life
Mark you calendars for Saturday, April 27, 2013. The event will take place at Rainy River Community College with the opening ceremonies to begin at 2 p.m. Lighting of the Luminaries and the Luminary Ceremony to follow at 9 p.m. Closing ceremonies will take place at 9:30 p.m., ending the day at 10 p.m.

You can help light the way to a cure for cancer, remembering those lost to cancer and honor loved ones who have battled this disease. During the Relay for Life, a beautiful and touching Luminary Ceremony takes place. Lit luminary bags line the walking track and bear the names of those honored and remembered.
 For each suggested donation of $5, a luminary in honor of someone fighting cancer or in remembrance of one who has lost their battle with cancer will be provided. Luminary order forms can be picked up a the Chamber of Commerce at 301 Second Avenue, International Falls. The check should be payable to the American Cancer Society and mailed to Luminary  Chair Jill Christie, c/o MD&W Railway at 101 Second Street, International Falls, MN  56649. Deadline is April 26, 2013.
