Waging a Living - Working Overtime in Pursuit of the Elusive American Dream

In the Arrowhead Region of Minnesota, more than 1 out of 3 workers are stuck in jobs that pay less than the amount needed to support their family of four?s basic needs. Waging a Living chronicles the day-to-day battles of four low-wage earners struggling to earn enough to pay their bills. The documentary captures the dreams, frustrations and accomplishments of a diverse group of people who struggle to live from paycheck to paycheck. The film presents an unvarnished look at the barriers that these workers must overcome to lift their families out of poverty. There will be a short discussion following the film.
