Post Operative Care of the Elderly Surgical Patient Workshop RRCC

The Lakewood Health System Education Department will present a two hour seminar on caring for the geriatric patient. This presentation will include assessing the patient in the immediate post op hospital setting and facilitating recovery after discharge. Additional topics will include: geriatric needs, pain management, urinary and bowel issues, nutrition, and PT/OT requirements. A multidisciplinary approach to common concerns, complications, and solutions will be identified. Two (2) CEU’s. COURSE # 000117
