A few years back we bought a bar Minnesota Wood in Jeff's home town of International Falls, Minnesota. We were excited to support both the shop owner as well a Minnesota based small business. When we returned home we ordered more and often gave bars of soap as gifts to friends and family. When I received the email that the brand was going to be retired we immediately ordered 15 bars of soap but also emailed back to see if they would be willing to sell, not really expecting a response. However, when they did, things just fell into place as if it was just meant to be and just like that we because owners of Dirty Knees Soap Company.
Although Minnesota natives we have been living in San Diego, California since 2002. After buying the company and assessing our personal priorities, we have decided to move to Jeff's hometown of International Falls, Minnesota. We have already bought a house and plan to have everything transitioned by May 1, 2024. We are excited to be back in Minnesota, close to family and friends, it's where our hearts have always been.
We are excited to continue offering the same great products and more while still offering the same high level of customer care that you have become accustomed to. We feel privileged and excited to continue the Dirty Knees Soap Co. story.
